EPA grants $1 million to rebuild long-gone Saginaw Bay reefs

An underwater formation largely buried about a century ago will soon resurface in the Saginaw Bay. Michigan was granted nearly $1 million in federal funds to build two rock reef formations in the Saginaw Bay, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced Thursday, April 12. Read more here.
